Machine Translation Platform (PLaTa) for the General Secretariat for Digital Administration (SGAD). It was created to provide a platform to translate texts/documents/htmls for the SGAD portals.
It started out on the basis of Opensource machine translators (Moses, Apertium) by offering the possibility of automatically translating web portals into the co-official languages and into English, French and Portuguese; now, however, we are developing translation systems based on neural networks.

Challenge
The challenges posed by this project are:
- To integrate users’ glossaries into the translation process.
- To put a robust machine translator in the open domain.
